Why I created this site. There's tons of information out there but it, sometimes, becomes a sensory overload situation or not easy to quickly find the right information. So, I put up a few pages that deal with the most common arguments, the ones you hear all the time. I add information on a regular basis but if there's something that you'd like to see just write and let me know.

Somebody needs to say this, and loudly:
"An American of Hispanic descent is as good an American Citizen as anybody else."

Illegal immigration isn't about race, it's about the law. And there are plenty of American Hispanics that feel exactly the same towards people that cheat the system and break in line. About 47% of voters of Hispanic descent voted for Prop 200 in Arizona which denied some freebies to illegals. Update:  Arizona voters just passed Props 100, 103,  and 300.   AP poll

PHOENIX — About half the Hispanics who voted Tuesday in Arizona supported a successful ballot proposal that makes English the state's official language, according to an exit poll by The Associated Press.

The other props, all of which passed by a large margin,  denied bail to illegals and denied tuition and other education breaks. EXCELLENT! Thank You, Arizona. So don't try to tell me that anyone that supports such measures is a racist.

Are you an American or are you an Asian-American? Are you an American or are you an Italian-American? Are you an American or are you a Hispanic-American? I'm an American FIRST and always. Just because some of my most immediate relatives came from Ireland doesn't change that one iota. I'd tell an illegal alien from Ireland the same thing I'd tell any other illegal alien. "Get your cheating, gate-crashing, line-breaking butt out and get in line like everybody else." By the way, some EU countries such as Spain and France are, also, having big problems because of illegal immigration so don't think it's just the USA.

Want to hear a really RACIST position? Watch how some react to an American citizen of a certain color or blood line that doesn't go along with how others believe they should think, act or vote. If an American of Hispanic descent doesn't favor open-borders and amnesties some fanatics will start screaming "traitor" and calling them "coconut." That's exactly the kind of racist mindset that put Americans of Japanese ancestry in internment camps during WWII. Because they were viewed as "Japs"  instead of Americans and some thought they would, therefore,  support  Japan instead of America. Heaven forbid that an American citizen is capable of independent thought and doesn't walk in lock step because of color or ancestry, and that their allegiance is to this nation.

Just ran into this, it speaks well of those types.  Video Link

Something else I need to add: I don't like the racial remarks coming from either side. "Go home, Beaners! All you Mexicans need to get out" or the "You white people need to go back to Europe," etc.. And I don't like to see any flag desecration. The problem of illegal immigration is much larger than just Mexico.

Most Americans like immigrants.
We allow more legal immigration than any other nation, about a million a year though not all are coming to stay.  But many, including myself, have some sense of fair play and can't stand a cheater. And the total failure of our government to enforce our laws and secure the borders is inexcusable.

Special Information on the AMNESTY
I just ran into this information recently and wanted to post it here. It's some of the most DAMNING facts that anyone could use to point out why another amnesty would be a huge mistake.

Simpson/Mizzoli on 1986 IRCA "One Time" amnesty.

Since illegal immigration continues nearly unabated today, legitimate questions can be raised about the effectiveness of IRCA. Although we do have pride of authorship, we also believe that the shortcomings of the act are not due to design failure but rather to the failure of both Democratic and Republican administrations since 1986 to execute the law properly.

Unbelievable that, even knowing that the 1986 IRCA was a total failure because of a lack of enforcement, they still seem to support another amnesty along the same framework. What's the definition of insanity? Oh, but the government's really going to get serious this time? NOT!

What Edwin Meese has to say about the 1986 IRCA.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because these are pretty much the same provisions included in the Comprehensive Reform Act of 2006, which its supporters claim is not amnesty. In the end, slight differences in process do not change the overriding fact that the 1986 law and the recent Senate legislation both include an amnesty. The difference is that President Reagan called it for what it was.

The lesson from the 1986 experience is that such an amnesty did not solve the problem. There was extensive document fraud, and the number of people applying for amnesty far exceeded projections. And there was a failure of political will to enforce new laws against employers. After a brief slowdown, illegal immigration returned to high levels and continued unabated, forming the nucleus of today’s large population of illegal aliens.

So here we are, 20 years later, having much the same debate and being offered much the same deal.

What would President Reagan do? For one thing, he would not repeat the mistakes of the past, including those of his own administration. He knew that secure borders are vital, and would now insist on meeting that priority first. He would seek to strengthen the enforcement of existing immigration laws. He would employ new tools—like biometric technology for identification, and cameras, sensors and satellites to monitor the border—that make enforcement and verification less onerous and more effective.

Some of our stupid ass politicians want to do exactly the same thing and expect a different result?
